Meet Heidi Edwards
Hello! My name is Heidi Edwards. Most of my professional life has been in the classroom–teaching English to multilingual learners of all ages-from kindergarteners to college students. Working with learners from all over the world has changed my own worldview and deepened my own desire to see more, do more, and learn more.
My first big adventure was to Spain in high school. In college I was able to live in Mexico for five weeks and in Chile for five months. My husband and I spent almost three months in Bolivia working at a rural clinic. I am proficient in Spanish and love practicing.
Some of my most treasured family memories are traveling with my husband and our three daughters. We have traveled all over the United States together, many places in Europe, and more recently to SCUBA friendly destinations. We have traveled extravagantly (a Uniworld cruise booked with Hey Hey Vacay) and very frugally (ask my daughters about the hotel we stayed at in Rome); each experience and trip was literally amazing and still so memorable. Traveling is one of my favorite ways to create memories with family and friends.
Now that I am an empty-nester, I am ready for some new challenges. I am excited to pursue a new adventure and to become a travel agent.
